Braedon Kennedy started his jiu jitsu journey in 2018 at the age of 17. He had grown up watching MMA and that's what sparked his interest in Martial arts. 

He first started training under Johnny martens, a Lucas Lepri black belt and received his purple belt under his guidance.

In 2022, Braedon moved to Charlotte to train full time and be an assistant coach at Lucas Lepri Academy HQ, receiving his brown belt from Professor Lucas Lepri shortly after.

Throughout the colored belts he has won several super fights and has podiumed at countless IBJJF tournaments taking 1st place at many of them. 

In his most recent victories he took double gold at both the IBJJF Charlotte Open Tournament in 2024 and the IBJJF Charleston Open Tournament in 2023. 

Coach Braedon is currently an instructor at both Lucas Lepri Academy Fort Mill and Lucas Lepri Academy Charlotte.
